Whiskey Sour
  • 2 shots whiskey (I used Jack Daniels)
  • 1½ shots simple syrup (see note)
  • 1 egg white
  • ½ lemon, freshly squeezed
  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker full of ice. Shake for a minute vigorously.
  2. Pour over ice. This recipe was enough to fill two 6 oz. mason jars.
  3. Garnish with cherries or slices of lemon.
To make simple syrup- add 1 cup of water & 1 cup of sugar to a small sauce pan. Heat pan over medium heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Do not let the mixture boil. Take off of heat right before the mixture begins to boil & let cool before using it in this recipe. The excess simple syrup will last up to a month when stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
