How in the hell is it already September?
Can we all agree that was the longest yet shortest summer ever? 2020 has been one hell of a year so far. And now school is back in session. My heart goes out to all the students & teachers who started school this week. The school year will look quite different, but we’re all in this together.
Switching gears here- who is ready for the long weekend? I’ll be away camping this weekend, yay! Very excited to just get out of the house (first time since quarantine).
Super interested in trying CBD oil to help me sleep. I’ve been eyeing the oil & softgels from Equilibria for quite some time. They are having a sale this weekend & I think I might take advantage of it!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill Reunion, Part 1 aired this week & it is GOOD! Cannot wait for the rest of the reunion to air. PS I totally think Denise has been lying this whole season.
I talked last week about the barre classes I’ve been taking virtually with Greenwich Barre Studio. LOVING THEM! Barre class is really hard. It might look easy but you are working every little muscle in your body. They are still running a special- $49 for your first month with code VNEW.
The new 2021 planners from Simplified Planners just dropped this week. I’m pretty sure I’m going to switch to their weekly version & get this cover!
Apple cider donuts! It’s about that time again….fall baking! I made the best apple cider donuts this past weekend for a friend’s birthday & they were AMAZING! Recipe will be coming to the blog shortly!!
New show alert on Netflix- Emily in Paris. It’s won’t be available until October, but it’s a mix between Sex & the City and Gossip Girl- YAS!
Now’s the time to get some summer staples on sale- or some comfy, cozy loungewear for the fall! Here are some great sales going on this Labor Day weekend:
- Up to 50% off site wide at American Eagle (I’m loving this oversized tunic & these tie dye joggers)
- J.Crew Factory is 50-75% off with an extra 60% off of clearance (love these high-rise denim & their basic tees)
- The Loft has basically their whole site on sale for 50% off (have my eye on these grey joggers & this striped knit blazer)
Lord & Taylor is going out of business, I’m sure you’ve heard by now. But so far, I don’t see any great sales. Lord & Taylor is my go to department store, a store my family has shopped at for years! Every holiday or birthday, I always got something from L&T from my Grandma. So sad to see all these big retailers closing! But wait until it’s closer to the doors closing to get better deals.
Off to go camping now- wish me luck!
Enjoy your long weekend!
