You know I’m all about reading a good book, but I LOVE to watch TV as well.
I totally watch most of my fav TV shows during the fall/winter months when I like to hibernate…but there are definitely days during the summer where it’s just too damn hot to be outside. Here’s a list of shows I’m currently watching & shows I plan on watching. I’ll do another update in the fall when my regularly scheduled programs are back (Grey’s Anatomy fan forever!)
Schitt’s Creek (Netflix): Pee in your pants funny. The new season just came out (there are 5 altogether). Stick with it- the more episodes you watch, the more you will fall in love with this delusional family.
Riverdale (Netflix): I know I am SO late to the party with this show. It airs regularly on the CW, but I’ve been bingeing on Netflix to catch up. The characters are loosely based off the Archie comic book. This dark & twisted YA drama will totally suck you in. There are 3 seasons on Netflix (almost done with Season 2) & hopefully the 4th season will be on there soon! PS even Alex watches this show with me- we’re obsessed!
Dead to Me (Netflix): This funny, kinda disturbing show has so many twists & turns. Love that the two main characters are strong, funny women! You will totally be able to get through this show quickly (episodes are 30 min long) & of course they left us with a cliff hanger! Patiently waiting for season 2.
Grace & Frankie (Netflix): I have been a huge fan of this show since it came out. Binge it all now before the next season comes out in 2020.
Queer Eye (Netflix): Who doesn’t love a show about 5 gay guys spreading light & love! I can’t get enough of this show and all the good feels that come with it. And I could listen to Jonathan Van Ness all day everyday- YAS QUEEN! New season just came out.
Younger (TV Land): The new season is on now! This show is about a woman in her 40’s posing as a twenty something year old millennial just so that she could get her dream job in the publishing world. It’s quirky, funny and a great little sitcom/drama that I love!
Animal Kingdom (TNT): Season 4 is currently on right now, but I haven’t started it! This show is about a family (a Mom & 4 sons) who are all criminals and make a living off of pulling elaborate heist jobs. Tons of drama, plus the sons are hot surfer dudes!

The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu): I know, I know. I’m SO late to the game on this! I wanted to read the book first, but might just have to go for it and start watching this!!
Orange is the New Black (Netflix): Season 7 just premiered (the final season) & I’ve heard mixed reviews. I’ve been holding off & plan to watch this whenever we get a good spell of rain so I can hide inside all day and watch this straight through!
90210 (Fox): Who else is excited for the original 90210 cast to come back? I’m hoping this show is actually good. But I don’t know how great it will be without Dylan (RIP Luke Perry!) It premieres this week (8/7 at 9 pm EST on Fox).
I of course watch a sh*t ton of Bravo (recently Real Housewives of NY, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills & Below Deck). I love my weekly dose of reality TV, can’t live without it. Also, I started watching The Hills reboot on MTV. Totally had to stop watching, it was an absolute train wreck of a show. Don’t waste your time on this- it’s even lamer than the original version!!
