Happy Monday!
I’m going to start doing a “Loving Lately” series about either products, clothes, or anything really that I love or can’t stop using. I also want to be totally transparent- some of the items have been gifted. However, I would not include these items in this series unless I absolutely loved them. All opinions are of course my own & my goal is always to be honest and authentic with you.
Here’s a few clean beauty/skincare items I’ve been using & loving lately:
This whipped body butter is SOOO good. I’ve been using it on my feet every night before bed & on my elbows (they get a bit dry). This will totally be my go-to body butter to use during the upcoming cold winter months as well. It comes in 3 different sizes (which I love so you can buy the small size to test out first!). Made with all natural ingredients: organic raw mango butter, organic unrefined shea butter, organic virgin coconut oil, organic grapeseed oil along with lavender essential oil. Along with being super nourishing, I also love how the lavender aides in sleep support if product is used at night! I highly recommend! PS might have a slight greasiness on your hand after applying but it goes away quickly!

Peace Out Calming Sleep Spray, $15
I’ve been spraying this on my pillows every night before bed & I LOVE the hint of lavender it leaves behind. TIP: shake before spraying- there is vodka in this spray & I found there is a slight “vodka” smell when spray without shaking. No one wants to smell that while trying to sleep! Clean ingredients: distilled water, vodka & a blend of lavender, mandarin & cedarwood essential oils.
The Whole Soul Company gifted me both of these items & I can’t stop using them. I love that both products are made from all natural ingredients without any chemicals or pesticides included. Plus this is a small California based company owned by two women- let’s support them!! I truly think these products are high quality & will definitely be re-ordering them!
Earth Harbor Marina Brightening Facial Oil, $38.95
I’ve been incorporating this facial oil into my daily routine for about two months now & it has totally helped transform the texture of my skin. Not only does this oil hydrate, it helps brighten your skin tone, clears up acne & helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines. It also smells amazing (if something smells nasty, I refuse to use it on my face!). Made only of all natural ingredients, this oil has Blue Tansy oil in it which is great for reducing redness in the skin. This will totally be a staple in my winter skincare routine.
I bought this from The Beauty Barn (another female owned small business)- check out her website for more clean beauty & skincare.
I can’t say enough good things about this BB Cream. It’s not quite foundation level coverage, but it’s a bit more coverage than a tinted moisturizer. I have been wearing this for most of the summer & will hopefully be able to get away with it come the fall/winter. It blends easily & comes in a couple of different shades. I use shade: medium because I get tan during the summer, but will probably switch to light once my tan fades.
Earth Wise Passion Eye Serum, $36
This little bottle of oil is a DREAM come true!! I use it in conjunction with my Dr. Alkaitis Eye Cream and have totally seen a difference in the fine lines around my eyes. This oil is fast absorbing & works to nourish, hydrate & firm your eye area. This serum is also supposed to help with dark under eye circles (a problem thankfully I don’t have) & collagen rebuilding. And a little bit goes a LONG way. I’ve been using this twice a day since May & I still haven’t used even half of the bottle.
I bought this eye serum from Greenhouse Beauty, a female owned clean beauty & skincare store in CT (owned by the fabulous Rachel). I love her & it’s such a treat to visit her store and play with all the non-toxic goodies!
PS ran out of my eye cream but will be testing out the new BeautyCounter Countertime Ultra Renewal Eye Cream this fall! Stay tuned for that review!!
