We are on the cusp of not only a new year, but a new decade. It’s a time to start fresh, a time for new beginnings & a time for living the life you always dreamed.
This time last year I shared with you all my goals for 2019 & some new year’s resolutions. Well I hate the word resolution. It gives a bit of a negative connotation in my opinion. You should aim to have goals for the new year instead of resolutions. This year, I decided not to share with anyone my goals for the upcoming year. They are very personal & I think not everything needs to be posted on the internet for the world to see.
What I will share with you is this- a New Year’s manifestation plan I read about from Gabby Bernstein. It’s an exercise to do on New Year’s Eve to help transition into the new year & put into the Universe all that you expect to receive. Write down a list of manifestations/goals or things you want to see happen in your life in 2020. The list can be as detailed as you want. It’s best to sit alone & do this without any distractions in order to really think about what you want in the coming year.
After midnight, burn your list (safely please). The act of burning this list is your way of giving up control & putting your faith in the Universe to make these things happen. You are releasing your wants & wishes up into the Universe. Letting go of control & trusting the process is the first step in removing anything that is blocking these desires from coming to fruition. This activity just seems very therapeutic & I cannot wait to do it.
One goal I will share with you for the new year- to just live a healthier lifestyle.
I recently saw a post on Instagram listing habits to practice for 30 days straight to kick start your health journey:
- Sleep 8+ hours every night
- Drink at least 2 liters of water every day
- Get sun/outdoor time daily (at least 15 minutes)
- Eliminate sugar
- Read for 30 minutes a day
- Workout 3 times a week
- East fruits & vegetables daily (especially your greens)
- Meditate at least 10 minutes a day
I fully plan on working these action items into my daily life! The no sugar thing is going to be a killer, but I’m determined to at least give it a shot. A healthy mind & body enable you to radiate a positive attitude, therefore being open to attracting all your desires.

I hope 2020 brings you everything you wish for & more. Working hard towards your goals is just the beginning. You need to show up with the attitude as if you are already living the life you always dreamed….and then everything will just start to fall into place.
